St.Quirinus
Founded in the 1970s in Panizza di Sopra, near Caldaro in Alto Adige, St. Quirinus Winery has a rich heritage deeply rooted in tradition and quality winemaking. The Estate is situated close to the ancient monastery at 1,500 feet above sea level, where exceptional wines were crafted since the Middle Ages.
Built with a commitment to environmental sustainability, St. Quirinus Winery is a shining example of bio-architecture, designed to minimize CO2 impact and respect of Mother Nature. Certified organic and biodynamic, the wines are the ultimate expression of nature, crafted using traditional methods that embrace the use of steel, wood, and terracotta amphorae. The winemaking process is guided by the rhythms of time and the phases of the moon, ensuring that each bottle reflects the true essence of the terroir.
When I first met Michael, I was captivated by the simplicity and transparency in his eyes. It was love at first sight. Everything about him is reflected in his wines— unpretentious, sincere, kind, yet powerful.
St. Quirinus Winery embodies Michael’s essence, crafting wines that mirror his character: straightforward, honest, and full of strength. Each sip reveals a story, a journey through the terroir and the passion behind every bottle.
